Your missions
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will assemble mechanically welded metal parts by fusion.
- Preparation of the work environment
- Identification of materials and the various appropriate welds
- Assembling metal parts by various welding processes
- Checking and controlling the conformity of the welds made
- Mastery of plan reading,
- Respect of safety instructions.
- Occasional assistance on the Boilermaker’s job
- Communication with the work environment by reporting on your activity
Minimum qualification
- Welding on sheet metal thickness 1 to 30 mm
- Welding on tube Ø ≥ 25mm and thickness 2 to 30 mm
- Welding on cylinder Ø ≥ 300mm to Ø 3000mm and thickness ≥ 2 to 30 mm
- Welding process: 141 (TIG) – 135 (MIG and MAG) – 136 (MAG)
- Grades: Carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel and Nickel-Chromium alloy
- Equipment : Welding on spinner, positioner or table
- Inspection: Visual, dye penetrant, X-ray or ultrasonic as appropriate
- Reading, interpretation and application of the instructions on the drawings and welding procedure descriptions (DMOS-WPS)
- Reference standards: NF EN ISO 9606-1 and ASME section IX
