Design of emergency generator exhaust silencers

Design, qualification and production of a first series of two exhaust silencers for the emergency power units of PWR (Pressurised Water Reactor) units for nuclear power plants.

The design of the silencers was developed exclusively to meet the specific requirements of the project and thus :

– Guarantee an acoustic attenuation of 50 dB with specific reagent for the treatment of low frequencies
– Integrate into the existing exhaust system without altering engine performance
– Guarantee mechanical integrity in the seismic and shock wave conditions of the site
– Reduce on-site installation time
