Création de l'entreprise BOËT
Un modeste atelier de chaudronnerie sera construit sur le terrain acheté par la famille BOËT, situé à Villeneuve d'Ascq. La société BOËT était jusqu'en 2021 la plus ancienne industrie de la ville nouvelle de Villeneuve d'Ascq.
Démarrage de l'acoustique
Réduire le bruit d'échappement d'un moteur, c'est un chef d'œuvre de chaudronnerie basé sur l'expertise acoustique que BOËT a développé.
Spécialisation de l'acoustique
Présentation officielle du premier silencieux de banc d'essai pour réacteur de jet : Le Viper.
Reconnaissance de l'expertise BOËT
Suite à une compétition organisée par le Ministère de l'Air, BOËT inaugure chez Dassault à Bordeaux le premier silencieux de piste mobile pour avion réaction (le chasseur militaire S.M.B2).
Développement de la recherche
BOËT crée le 1er simulateur acoustique et aéraulique analogique.
BOËT s'implante à l'étranger
La société s'implante en Italie, en Espagne avec la filiale StopSon Espagnola et en Floride en 1985 avec la société BOËT American Compagny.
La société crée ses propres installations de tests
Une chambre anéchoïque, une salle réverbérante et des bancs d'essais sont construits dans les locaux afin de pouvoir réaliser les tests nécessaires avant commercialisation des produits.
Développement de l'activité capots acoustiques
BOËT développe des capots acoustiques haute performance pour les turbines à gaz. Plus de 50 seront installés.
Partenariat Bombardier – SNCF
BOËT Stopson équipe tous les silencieux d'échappement des AGC (Autorail Grande Capacité) de la SNCF.
Le millionième silencieux
La société BOËT Stopson atteint son millionième silencieux vendu.
Projet DUS
BOËT est sélectionné pour le programme DUS (Diesel Ultime Secours), visant à renforcer la sûreté des centrales nucléaires après la catastrophe de Fukushima.
