SVS atmosphere silencer: air, water vapor, all, gas type
To remedy all acoustic problems, the BOËT Group has developed a solution: the air vent silencer. This is a noise-reducing device. It will attenuate noise levels that are too high. What causes noise? Quite simply, they are created by the expansion of a gas in the atmosphere. The noise is therefore produced by the turbulence of the gas. The air silencer creates a counter-pressure that ensures the expansion process runs smoothly.
This valve silencer is based on two principles to reduce noise. The first will considerably attenuate low frequencies during gas expansion. The second principle absorbs audible high-frequency noise. Groupe BOËT offers a wide range of silencer models. These are specifically designed for combined-cycle, cogeneration and fossil-fired power plants. Silencers are also designed for nuclear and solar thermal power plants. They can also be adapted to industrial applications.
Noise reduction devices are tailor-made. Groupe BOËT’s venting silencers provide a significant reduction in noise when the pressurized gas is released.
