1. Controlling noise in sensitive industrial environments

Acoustic management is a strategic issue in heavy industry. Process equipment, motors, compressors and ventilation systems generate significant noise emissions. As part of a decarbonation project carried out for EQIOM, Groupe Boët was asked to provide noise treatment for an industrial Penthouse located at a height of almost 50 meters. The objective: to guarantee optimum noise reduction in a constrained environment, without compromising on deadlines or acoustic performance.

2. A high-stress industrial penthouse

Penthouse K6, part of a cement plant, contains a concentration of noise-generating industrial equipment. The complex geometrical configuration and height of the building required :

The challenge was to deploy industrial acoustic solutions capable of ensuring significant sound attenuation while guaranteeing safety and reliability during the construction phase.

3. Industrial acoustic solutions deployed

High-performance acoustic panels

Groupe Boët installed BSP 60 modular panels, genuine industrial acoustic devices designed to reduce noise in industrial environments.

Technical specifications :

• Sound attenuation Rw = 34 dB
• Sound absorption coefficient α = 1.00

These acoustic panels incorporate high-density sound-absorbing materials for optimum noise attenuation. They help control noise emissions while ensuring mechanical robustness and durability in cement environments.

This type of acoustic component for noise reduction is particularly suitable for industrial plants exposed to high noise levels.

Acoustic roof treatment: thermal performance and acoustic protection

The roof was the subject of a tailor-made solution incorporating :

• Enhanced soundproofing
• Thermal performance compatible with the site’s energy requirements
• Waterproofing by UV-resistant reinforced PVC membrane

This global approach is based on a logic of acoustic enclosure and integrated acoustic protection. It combines noise reduction, equipment protection and structural durability.

The system acts as a soundproof enclosure for harsh industrial environments.

Site organization and safety at 50 meters

To limit the risks associated with working at height, the acoustic equipment was first assembled on the ground. The assembly was then completed at a height of 50 metres. This methodology has enabled us to reduce intervention times at height, ensure the safety of our teams, and optimize overall planning.

The entire project was completed in less than two months, from receipt of order to full on-site installation.

The solutions implemented enabled :
