Industrial boiler silencers

SCH silencers are made up of a cylindrical body closed by two convex bottoms, and a steel casing containing the “absorption” attenuation devices.

An inner perforated sheet holds an absorbent pad made of high-quality long fibers. A system of cores or rings completes the device of the most efficient model. The body is extended at each end by a spigot corresponding to the muffler’s nominal diameter.

Information on industrial boiler silencers

The noise generated by industrial boilers can reach critical levels, damaging operators, equipment and the external environment. In sectors such as energy, heavy industry, data centers and construction, acoustic control is both a regulatory necessity and a performance driver.

The industrial boiler silencer designed by Groupe BOËT, a specialist in industrial acoustic solutions, offers a tailor-made, high-performance and durable solution for effective noise reduction, in compliance with the most demanding standards.

E24-2 carbon steel (Thickness 2 to 4 mm)
High temperature interior and exterior paint

Applications

This program is aimed at professionals in the :

Energy (thermal power plants, cogeneration, gas turbines)
Industry (boiler rooms, thermal processes)
Data centers (emergency generators)
Commercial buildings and technical complexes
Nuclear and high-safety environments
Product description

Product description

The industrial boiler silencer is an acoustic device designed to attenuate the noise of outgoing gas flows, generally at the burner, chimney or valve outlet. Each silencer is sized according to an acoustic and aeraulic model specific to your configuration. It incorporates several technologies:

Expansion chambers for acoustic energy dissipation
Phase-shift attenuation (low frequencies)
Acoustic louvres and anti-resonance compartments
Structures resistant to high temperature, high pressure and corrosive environments
Technical specifications and compatibility

Technical specifications and compatibility

Sound attenuation: up to -60 dB(A)
Operating temperature: up to 600°C
Permissible pressure: up to 20 bar
Materials: carbon steel, stainless steel, Inconel, depending on requirements
Finishes: galvanizing, high-temperature paint, powder coating
