The catalyzed silencer incorporates an oxidation catalyst capable of transforming the most harmful pollutants, such as unburnt hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO), into water vapor and carbon dioxide (CO₂). This process is based on a catalytic oxidation reaction, guaranteeing high performance without the need for additives or regeneration operations.
Acoustically, the combination of reactive multi-stage technology and a high-performance sound absorption system achieves attenuation of between 15 and 60 dB(A). This dual functionality makes catalytic silencers the preferred solution for industrial sites requiring both engine noise reduction and pollution control, such as natural gas cogeneration plants, biogas installations or applications using industrial diesel engines.
