Positive displacement rotary compressors, such as Roots blowers or vacuum pumps, are renowned for their pumping performance, but they also generate high levels of noise and vibration at discharge, impacting safety, acoustic comfort and regulatory compliance in industrial environments. These nuisances propagate via complex pathways: internal fluid transmission, solid radiation from mechanical structures, and airborne noise radiated into the environment.
A High-Performance Response at the Heart of Industrial Challenges
The fruit of a century’s worth of expertise in industrial acoustics and aeraulics, the new Air-S range has been specifically developed for end-users faced with these problems on positive displacement air compressors.
Three models, one performance logic:
– Air-S 20 MF axial-axial: guaranteed acoustic reduction of 20 dB between 500 Hz and 4,000 Hz, inspired by the SR15/SR25 references.
– Air-S 30 MF axial-axial: increased performance of 30 dB from 250 Hz, based on the SR30 / SM30.
– Air-S 30 MF radial-axial: same attenuation range (30 dB) with optimized geometry for specific configurations.
Certified performance
Certified performance over the entire 63 Hz – 8 kHz band (and 31 Hz – 8 kHz for the 30 MF model), for air flows at 60°C discharge. Available diameters: DN 80 to DN 350.

High-quality absorption materials, such as fiberglass combined with glass cloth, guaranteeing durability without defibration.
Optimized aeraulic design using numerical simulation tools (3D modeling, static and dynamic test benches).
Minimized pressure losses, validated by internal bench testing (speed/pressure).
ISO 9001 certified, DESP/PED, RCC-M, ASME (if required), our silencers are produced on a 10,000 m² industrial site, with recognized expertise in critical environments such as nuclear power, data centers and rail transport.
